We are trying to eat more fish, and I have a fish cookbook, but it’s somewhat limited……….. my husband hates salmon (I love it) and so we’re trying to explore some unusual varieties of fish to see if there’s something we both like but I’m not sure how to cook some of this stuff.

I’m not a seafood person, but hearing about all the benefits of eating Salmon (fish in general) compels me to add it to my diet. Are there any recipes that will make fish tolerable?

I bought this package and it’s a mixture of different seafood. It’s a mix of shirmp, clams, scallops, calamari rings, octopus and either mussles or oyster.

I love the mixure of different fish and I though I could make something pretty good out of it. I was thinking about this soup I once had in Mexico and it had alot of the same fish in it. It was really good, Then I was thinking about making a civiche (cooked in lemon juice prepared like a salsa). I even though about frying it… However If anyone would have any kind of recipe that they could give me some other Idea’s that would be wonderful… My main problem is that I don’t know exactly how to cook the stuff.. I don’t think there completly raw but I don’t know if I’m supposed to boil it first or what…. Can anyone who is good with cooking sea food like shell fish please help.

Thanks

any suggestions? I have a packaged seafood mix containing squid, crab meat, octopus etc. I also have alfredo sauce and dry noodles.
would it be better to make a seafood mix in a spagetti like mix or would a fried rice mix be better.
Or just give me some different ideas please
thanks

I remember reading in a magazine how certain types of seafood could pe preapred by soaking in lime juice instead of cooking. This sounds great for summer, but I don’t know what it is called or how to do it. Does anyone have any ideas?
